As many a Kuchingite would know, this particular establishment opened its doors not too long ago (a week ago in fact) and owned by one of Tiing Pek Khing’s sons, which would also point to the fact that it was built by his company, Global Upline Sdn.... more

Hi Simoneko,
The trains I took were the normal express trains which end up in Singapore at the end of the journey. I do not think there would be trains departing Tanah Merah around 12pm though, and you may have to wait the next day. I found most of the info I needed here: http://seat61.com/Malaysia.htm

But as we will reach Tanah merah from Perhentian, we will not be able to catch the early train. Do you know, if there is a later one (around 12:00) ? Where can I search for these trains?
